I can speak from experience about associatedcontent.com. I've made a few hundred bucks writing for associatedcontent.com over the last few months. No, the bucks don't roll in. I make $4 or $5 for a 400-word article. But there is a pageview incentive program that basically can translate into $$ based on how many page views stories I write get. My monthly pageview income is at present is just $6 and change per month, but the word is that some writers at associatedcontent.com make hundreds in page view income a month.
